This is exactly what happens to me. I also find the hair thinning happens really quickly, like in a day. It's like the scalp is tighter and the nutrients cannot get to the hair follicles. I also cannot have alcohol or caffeine for the same reason.

Hi alex ,i got a question. I am 22years old Around nw2 took finasterid now for almost 1year and 8months .It stopped It Maybe and Maybe there is regrowth Not Sure tho , will Check a doc for It. I have been using liquid minoxidil every 2 days and I forgot the other products name it starts with “S”. And a derma stamp once a week, I have been doing this for 4 weeks. (I stamp my scalp for about 3 mins.) And massage my scalp when shampooing, and when rubbing in the hair products. I haven’t seen a difference. My dad tried minoxidil too and it never worked. I don’t know whether to try the cream that helps break the minoxidil down? But it makes my hair greasy enough. Or try Fin, but the side effects scare me. And there is no longer term studies I believe? So what is all these chemicals doing? What about the injections? I’ve been told stem cells work?

I was using liquid form minoxidil for about 7ish months and I got amazing results but never noticed a huge build up so I lost a lot of the progress and I stopped using it to get the build up off my scalp (took 2 weeks) I went back to using it and my scalp got very irritated and red which didn’t happen the first time I was using it.
